| Special DC motor direct driven milling cutter type scarfers are custom designed for continuous or cut bar or strip. These units are suited to high metal removal at low material speeds, as in tube and pipemills and other strip weld preparation applications. Cut bar is belt conveyed in the lighter thicknesses and mechanically handled in heavy slabs. |

 Quarter round edge above is cut with opposite edge beveled by multiple cutting stations on adjustable width cut strip auto feed milling type edging machine below. Cutting heads are mounted directly on especially adapted DC motor shafts, avoided costly gear trains and spindles. Motors are controlled to give optimum cutting under a wide range of conditions. Motors move on adjustable carriages. |
