Heavy Duty Edge Skiving and Profiling Equipment
Where precision heavy duty edge profiling and skiving is required, a wide range of skiving systems is available with thickness capability ranging from 0.020 inch (0.5mm) to 0.5 inch (12.7mm). This equipment is used for cutting accurate edges in the manufacture of tube and pipe, sawblades, doctor blades, mower blades, rollformings and stampings.
         
    EC3 AND EC4 SERIES MACHINES

These machines use plain (un notched) tools deployed at variable angles in air pressure loaded modular cutting heads. Multiple heads are used in sequence to cut any desired edge shape.

    180 DEGREE TOOLMOUNT HARDWARE

Standard toolmounts for the EC3 and EC4 series have straight sides and a total angle capability of 140 degrees. Where perpendicular skiving is required, 180 degree arc mounts are available.
